We start from the wonderful harbor of Mytilene where the statue of Liberty (one of three around the world) dominates and head towards the southern part of the island, in the area of Plomari, famous for its delicious ouzo, where we can find ouzo museum and, of course, the modern ouzo plant (guided by the factory manager).
Then following a wonderful journey through the olive grove and the pine forest of Lesbos, we reach Vatera, the longest beach on the island, 10 km long, for a banquet and a meal.
On our way back to Mytilene we take a stop at the Holy Church of Our Lady at Agiasos for pilgrimage and traditional coffee in the cave.
